Adrianna ‘AD’ Franch, goalkeeper for the Kansas City Current club in the NWSL, was named to the 23-player U.S. Women’s National Team roster for the 2023 SheBelieves Cup.
- The SheBelieves Cup starts on February 16th at Exploria Stadium in Orlando with Japan taking on Brazil and USA facing Canada.
- All four nations are ranked top 11 in FIFA World Rankings:
- USA #1
- Canada #6
- Brazil #9
- Japan #11
Additional USWNT & SheBelieves Cup Notes:
- Tierna Davidson will attend training camp leading up to the tournament but will not be part of it’s roster selection due to her ACL recovery process.
- Alex Morgan will receive recognition during the opening of SheBelieves Cup for earning her 200th cap against Germany last year.
- The USWNT has won 5 out of 7 since 2016.
