Angel City FC announced the hiring of Becki Tweed as their new assistant coach.
- Tweed comes from NJ/NY Gotham FC, where she served as an assistant coach for three seasons.
- Helped lead Gotham FC to a 2021 playoff appearance and Challenge Cup Final.
- Co-head coach of the Gotham FC Reserves team that won the 2021 WPSL Championship.
- 2021 WPSL Coach of the Year.
- Assisted with coaching at 2022 U20 World Cup in Costa Rica and Sud Ladies Cup in France.
- Developed players throughout New Jersey while working with Monmouth University’s women’s soccer program.
- Tweed’s professional career includes six years in English Premier League (EPL) & represented England internationally at youth level.
Angel City FC made a few moves last week which includes the drafting of Alyssa Thompson and Angelina Anderson.
