Five Chicago Red Stars players will join national teams for the 2023 SheBelieves Cup: Julia Bianchi, Tierna Davidson, Alyssa Naeher, Bianca St-Georges and Mallory Swanson.
Brazil Women’s National Team
- Julia Bianchi: Previously played for Brazil at the 2019 SheBelieves Cup where she scored one goal. Bianchi also participated in the 2021 Summer Olympics team that lost to Canada in the quarterfinals by penalties.
Canada Women’s National Team
- Bianca St-Georges: She represented Canada at the 2022 CONCACAF Women’s Championship. During the 2022 NWSL season, she recorded two goals and two assists over 15 matches started.
United States Women’s National Team
- Alyssa Naeher: Naeher has 87 appearances, 51 clean sheets, and 2 World Cup appearances.
- Mallory Swanson: Swanson has 84 appearances, 28 goals, 27 assists, and 1 World Cup appearance.
- Tierna Davidson: During last year’s cup, she played in all three matches and started in the opening match against Czech Republic and final against Iceland.
2023 SheBelieves Cup Details
The USA will host the eighth annual SheBelieves Cup, presented by Visa. The tournament includes four teams: Brazil, Canada, Japan and USA. All four countries are ranked within the top 11 of FIFA rankings.

The tournament starts on February 16, 2023 and runs through February 22, 2023
