The Houston Dash officially signed Courtney Petersen to a two-year contract through the 2024 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) season. The club acquired rights to the midfielder in a trade with Orlando Pride earlier this month. The trade also included allocation money and additional incentives.

- Petersen made 30 starts and 41 appearances during her tenure with the Pride.
- She was selected with the seventh overall pick in the 2020 NWSL Draft.
- Her collegiate career included: 78 career appearances with 12 assists and five goals while at University of Virginia.
