The North Carolina Courage announced this week their preseason roster for the 2023 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) season.
- There are 17 returning players from the 2022 season, four newly acquired players and four drafted in the 2023 NWSL Draft.
- Five non-roster invitees have been included on the team.
- There are four international slots with two more remaining.
- Mille Gejl has signed to join once her visa is approved.
- Tess Boade is recovering from a shoulder injury but is still on the lineup.

Goalkeepers (3): Marisa Bova, Casey Murphy, Katelyn Rowland
Defenders (10): Malia Berkely, Sarah Clark, Sydney Collins, Estelle Johnson, Emily Fox, Kaleigh Kurtz, Kiki Pickett, Nikia Smith, Croix Soto, Ryan Williams.
Midfielders (8): Elianna Beard, Jennifer Cudjoe, Emily Gray,Denise O’Sullivan, Brianna Pinto, Clara Robbins, Meredith Speck, Frankie Tagliaferri.
Forwards (9): Tess Boade, Millie Farrow, Mille Gejl Jensen, Haley Hopkins, Tyler Lussi, Rikke Madsen, Kerolin Nicoli, Brittany Ratcliffe, Olivia Wingate.
