San Diego Wave FC forward Alex Morgan has been named a finalist for the 2022 Best FIFA Women’s Player Award.
- During the 2021 season, Morgan scored a career-high 15 regular season goal in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
- She won the annual NWSL Golden Boot award and was named to NWSL Best XI First Team.
- She currently leads all active USWNT players with 119 international goals.
- Voting is open until February 3, 2023. FIFA will then announce three finalists.
