San Diego Wave FC signed defender Cheyenne Shorts as an injury replacement for the 2023 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) season.
- Shorts was drafted by the Orlando Pride in the 2020 NWSL Draft with No. 21 overall pick from the University of Denver.
- She also spent time with French side Saint Etienne and Scottish Women’s Premier League’s Celtic before signing with Portland Thorns FC last season.
