The Kansas City Current announced the signing of Swedish International defender Hanna Glas through the 2024 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) season, with a mutual option for 2025.
Hanna Glas
- She played 40 matches for Bayern Munich in Germany’s Frauen Bundesliga.
- Additionally, Glas played 19 matches over two seasons at Paris Saint-Germain in France.
- She started her professional career in 2011 playing for Sundsvalls DFF before moving up to Umeå IK then Eskilstuna United in Sweden’s first division Damallsvenskan.
- She has been on Swedish national teams since 2009 including helping them win UEFA Women’s U19 Championship (2012) as well as earn 59 caps leading to third place finish at 2019 FIFA World Cup & Silver medal at 2020 Tokyo Olympics
