The Houston Dash officially signed midfielder Bárbara Olivieri to a one-year contract through the 2023 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) season, with an option for 2024.

- Olivieri’s previous experience includes: one year in Mexico’s LigaMX Femenil with Monterrey CF and two years at Texas A&M University.
- 2020 SEC Freshman of the Year and All-SEC First Team honors.
- She is a Venezuelan American and made her debut for the Venezuela Women’s National Team in December 2021 – scored the game-winning goal and added an assist.
- Previous national team experience includes: 2018 South America U-17 Women’s Football Championship & 2022 South America U-20 Women’s Football Championship.
