Marissa Sheva, NWSL midfielder for the Washington Spirit, was called up to the Ireland Women’s National Team as a forward.
- This is Marissa Sheva’s first senior international call-up.
- She will participate in a ten day training camp in Marbella, Spain and compete against China on February 22, 2023.
- Sheva will be with the Ireland team this July for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup against Australia, Canada and Nigeria in Group B.
- Sheva’s previous experience includes: 13 goals and 5,200 minutes for Penn State University.
- Previous member of U14/U15 US Youth National Teams.
